Elevating the Art of Parenting
Raising children can be an enriching experience but comes with its fair share of challenges. From a behavioural standpoint, parents often struggle to navigate a child’s development’s complex and ever-changing landscape. Once manageable behaviours can suddenly become disruptive, requiring parents to adapt their strategies on the fly. Issues like tantrums, defiance, and poor impulse control can test the patience of even the most experienced caregivers. Effective behaviour management is crucial, but it demands a deep understanding of child psychology and a willingness to experiment with different techniques until the right approach is found.
* Parental personalised coaching and counselling
I offer personalised coaching and counselling, helping parents better understand their child’s unique behavioural and developmental needs from as early as 2 years of age and all the way through adulthood. By working one-on-one with parents, I can recommend tailored strategies and techniques to manage challenging behaviours effectively. This direct, hands-on approach allows parents to receive customised support and implement solutions that are specifically suited to their family’s circumstances.
* Parent-Child Counselling Sessions
I offer parent-child counselling sessions starting at age 14. This specialised service recognises that as children enter their teenage years, the parent-child dynamic can become increasingly complex, with new behavioural and emotional challenges emerging. By facilitating joint counselling sessions, I can help both parents and their 14+ year-old children develop better communication, understanding, and problem-solving skills.
* Personalised one-on-one counselling for children aged 14 and older
I provides personalised one-on-one counselling for children aged 14 and older. This specialised program recognises that as young people enter their teenage years, they often face a unique set of behavioural, emotional, and social challenges that require dedicated support. Through these confidential individual sessions, I work closely with 14+ year old clients to help them develop healthy coping mechanisms, improve self-awareness, and navigate the complexities of adolescence.
Another area I focus on is helping teens manage the immense stress and pressure associated with academic exams. I work with adolescents to develop effective study strategies, time management skills, and stress reduction techniques. I provide a safe, judgment-free space for teens to explore their thoughts and feelings, empowering them to grow, gain resilience, and strengthen their path towards adulthood and academic performance.
* Personalised one-on-one counselling for parent
I also offers personalised one-on-one counselling for parents. This individualised support recognises that raising children can be a behavioural and emotional challenge for parents. Through these confidential sessions, parents have the opportunity to explore their own feelings, concerns, and coping strategies in a safe and supportive environment. I can provide parents with tailored guidance, practical tools, and stress management techniques to help them navigate the complexities of child-rearing more effectively. Addressing the parents’ needs and well-being ensures they are better equipped to handle their children’s behavioural and developmental challenges.
